Our shop rides started in May as the weather finally improved. We have highly experienced volunteer ride leaders taking the groups out to ensure safety and enjoyment. Each ride is preceded by half an hour together on practical learning about your bikes, pre-ride checks, safety and good riding practice. All designed to help build your confidence whilst out cycling alone, or with friends.

The shop ride is a purely social ride (sorry, no prizes for finishing first, last, or just finishing! - we start and end every ride together).  It is for people who:

​

• Aren't comfortable riding alone

• Fear riding on the main roads 

• Worry about having a breakdown whilst out riding

• Don't know the area or good cycle routes

• Are new to the area and don't know many other people / cyclists!

If any of these apply to you, then join one or more of our shop rides!  Rides start at 9am on Saturday mornings through the summer every two weeks meeting at the shop at 8.30. Follow the shop on Facebook for details of upcoming ride dates.

As ever, nothing in life is free.... Rides are £5 - all proceeds going to Shipston Rotary who are an incredibly important charitable group in our community in Shipston On Stour.
